[Alert] New Facebook Spam Virus ” Osama Shoot Down Video “

Another dangerous  spam is spreading very fast in facebook. Facebook users receive a message that looks quite tempting and when they click on the link they are taken to the self replicating spam called “Watch the Osama Shoot down video”. After the death of osama, this new scam is arrived. This spam is going viral and here is a screenshot of this “Watch the Osama Shoot down video”


By clicking on this link we are redirected to a fan page  shown above named “Osama Shot down video” and ask you to press some keys to watch the video, If you do it as per instruction, it will start posting your friends wall with the scam message. This app have the ability to post to your wall, access your data at any time and manage your pages.

If you already clicked this scam, you are giving it the ability to post to your personal profile wall and if you Administrate a Facebook page, also the ability to post to your Facebook pages wall. Follow below procedure for safety purpose.

How to remove Rogue Apps on Facebook

1) In home page, Click Account, then “Privacy Settings”.

2) Under the heading “Applications and Websites” click “Edit Settings”.

3) Find the rogue application you want to remove in the list and click the “Delete” to delete the apps.

4) Clean your browser cache.
