Android is a operating system for portable devices such as mobile phones and tablet computers developed by Google Inc. Android consists of a mobile operating system based on the Linux kernel, software running on an application framework which includes Java-compatible libraries based on Apache Harmony. In 2003 when android was founded and Google acquired it on august 2005. The first version of android was launched at 23 September 2008. Now android is the #1 smart phone operating system in the world.
