Deleting a file from your computer may not be as easy as it seems. Sometimes you get an error message like these ?
- Cannot delete folder: It is being used by another person or program
- Cannot delete file: Access is denied
- There has been a sharing violation.
- The source or destination file may be in use.
- The file is in use by another program or user.
- Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.
The solution is called Unlocker. It is a simple tool that will help you to delete stubborn files that can’t be deleted in the standard way. Unlocker is dead easy to use: simply right click the file that can’t be erased and select the Unlocker option. If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear. Simply click Unlock All .
