Design
The new E class basically looks like the same old one. From the front we can see the radiator grille which is been molded in to a V shape, giving a sporty look to the vehicle. The double headed old type head lights giving a royal look for the car. These bixenon head lights have been given with separate sprayers to wash them. The wind screen wipers as expected are automatic works automatically as its rains. There is a sunroof for enjoying a wild ride. The self adjusting mirrors are more colorful with the indicators on them. Two big fog lamps on the front give much more wide clear picture of car in foggy atmosphere.
Interior Design
It’s unnecessary to tell that the interior is luxurious. The leather covered upholstery and wooden crafted dashboards making the car looks great. The driver side door, dashboards and steering wheels have been decorated with different control buttons. All the seating arrangements as once set can be stored into the memory. The music is integrated with the dashboard which is a 6 CD changer. The thermo-metronic air conditioning system is providing different temperature atmosphere for all the passengers.
Engine
The engine provided for the E class is same as of the C class. The 2148cc common rail turbo diesel engine can produce 168bhp. The engine is built in aluminum, which can produce a massive torque of 410nm@ 2000rpm. The vehicle is rear wheel drive. The 5 speed automatic gear box is same as the c class.
Internally ventilated disc brakes are provided on the front and the rear is solid disc brakes. Both are sensitive and sudden stop is the result. The boot capacity of the car is 80 litres.
