Google has announced it’s new version of Android called Android 3.1 Honeycomb. Android 3.1 is currently rolling out to the Verizon Motorola Xoom and will hit other tablets and Google TV devices later on. New Android 3.1 have an application task manager that automatically shuts down tasks that aren’t being used . Check out the list of features below.
1) USB Capabilities
Users will now able to attach many types of input devices like keyboards, mice, game controllers and digital cameras. The platform also adds new support for USB accessories. Picture Transfer Protocol Feature support to enable easier transfer of photo files to your PC without the need for drivers.
2) Better Multi Tasking
New Android 3.1 Honeycomb have better multi tasking and the ability to switch between apps smoothly. Old Honeycomb has had some problem with crashes. But in this new version google bring an end to the crashes.
3) Resizable widgets
With Honeycomb 3.1 customization is taken to the next level with the ability to stretch the home screen widgets as you feel like both horizontally and vertically. Resizable widgets to enable freak customization of home screens.
4) Cloud Based Music Service
By using  Cloud Based Music Service users will be able to store or save their music on the cloud with the stock Android music player. This will help users to save space in their phone. Also they can access these file any time from cloud.
5) Improved Wi-Fi networking
Android 3.1 has been updated with Wi-Fi features, now users can take full advantage of higher-speed Wi-Fi access. Users can now configure an HTTP proxy for each individual Wi-Fi access point. Also new options for power saver mode are available.
