” Who viewed my Facebook profile ” New Facebook Scam [ Alert ]

A new Facebook app scam is spreading fast. Facebook users receive a message that looks quite tempting and when they click on the link they are taken to the Facebook application called “Who viewed my Facebook profile”.

Once you clicked on attached link, you’re redirected to a application that requests access to your Facebook pages. If you grant access to the app, however, you’ll suddenly spam all your other Facebook friends with the exact same message.

Thousands of people recently affected by this scam which claims that after installing an app Who viewed my Facebook profile. This application simply allows the makers to hack your private data and virally spread the app amongst your friends. A Facebook spokesman revealed that apps on the site do not have the ability to track who is viewing profiles.

If you have already opened it, remove the app from your application settings. Once again I reminds you cannot repeat this type of activities,  the advice: “don’t click random links offering suspiciously favourable things online“. Share this post to your friends also.
