BlackBerry Playbook

RIM has formally announced the launch of the BlackBerry tablet which is now named the BlackBerry Playbook. The announcement was made at the annual BlackBerry Developer Conference. The PlayBook will run the newest BlackBerry OS, and only work over a WiFi connection. It contain full web experience with HTML5 and Flash 10.1 compatibility. The PlayBook isn’t expected to launch until the first quarter of 2011 in the US, with international rollout continuing through the second quarter. No pricing is yet available.
