Toyota India is again in going make a boom in Indian automobile sector with their new all mind-blowing model LIVA. A small beauty I will say. Toyota is definite with this model announcing war with Maruti swift, Hyundai i10, Ford Figo. The all new liva is the hatchback of the etios. The main thing that will call customers all around the dealership is its price.
The engine used in the liva is 1197 cc 4-Cylinder 16V, DOHC petrol engine. The maximum power output provided by the car is 80 PS (59kW) @ 5600 rpm. Which seems to be a less power but for this price it’s very reasonable. The torque produced by this car is 104 Nm (10.6 kg-m) @ 3100 rpm. And a 5 speed manual gear box gives this car a very smooth drive.
The interior is so made luxurious in the LIVA the manual air condition system gives ambient air for the passengers all around the car. The meters are in the centre of the dashboard gives the car a cockpit look. The power windows and power steering gives the car a royal standard. Pillow type rear head rest is another attraction of the car. The stereo system is assisted with 4 speakers; in the top of model remote control and steering controls are also there. The upholstery provided in the car is optional with fabric/leather. However in the top of the line dual color black and red colored upholstery is there.
Toyota has announced 4 variants on the road for customers. This time Toyota has made sure that every level of customers should get the car. Sure they meant financial. Engine used is same for all the variants, but features like luxury and safety varies from top-level to bottom level.
– Toyota LIVA J – Rs. 4.09 lakhs
– Toyota LIVA G – Rs. 4.59 lakhs
– Toyota LIVA V – Rs. 5.49 lakhs
– Toyota LIVA JX – Rs. 5.99 lakhs
The top model JX is occupied with chrome finished wind sills, body colored bumpers, roof spoilers, 12 spoke alloy wheels and roof spoilers. When it is with safety Toyota is in no compromise with the safety luxury in specification of safety with SRS air bags fog lamp, ABS, EBD, key less entry and seat belt warning.
