The long awaited release of Firefox 4 release candidate is now available for download from Mozilla site. After releasing 12 beta versions of Firefox 4,the RC  is released for developers to check bugs before the release of full version. Mozilla page has a list of all news features that are part of Firefox 4 beta, including the compact start button, and am not sure if much has changed in the latest RC.
