From last few months Facebook is rocking with scams and spam. As Facebook has grown in popularity, it has also become a primary target for hackers and spammers. Scam messages spreading with short links. If you click on the link, you’re taken to a page that requests your permission to access private information. If you allow it to do so, the message immediately repost itself on all your friends’ walls.
BitDefender is a provider of innovative Internet security  solutions, released a detailed infographic which revealed the dynamics of the Facebook scam landscape. Top ranking the list of scams in the survey are so-called “stalker” offers, such as promises to let users ” see who has viewed their profile ” something that is not possible on Facebook.

– Traffic Insights: 34.7%, “who visited your profileâ€, “who deleted youâ€.
– Game bonuses: 16.2%, “free creditsâ€, “get to the top levelâ€
– Shocking images: 14.1%, “a woman killed herself then uploaded the imagesâ€
– Inexistent Facebook features: 12.5%, “old Facebookâ€, “Facebook themesâ€
– Versions of famous games: 8.4%, mario, pacman.
– Free gadgets: 5.7%, “win an iPhone for freeâ€
– malware: 4.3%
– Other minor threats: 4.1%
