AMOLED is a a new and advanced display developed for mobile phones , LCD displays and laptops. Companies like samsung , LG etc already using this display in their mobile phones and laptops. AMOLED means - Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode . This display consists of OLED ( Organic LED ) pixels that integrated on to a thin film of transistor ( TFT ) .
AMOLED screens are ultra-tough and highly flexible. TFT (Thin Film Transistor) on the plastic panel and by replacing the existing vinyl protection sheet by PI (Polyimide) film to avoid residue upon emission of light. AMOLED displays are ultra thin , ultra bright and does not require any backlight for its working.
