Nokia Started Windows Phone 7 production, Rising Of a King ?

Now the rumors turned into reality. Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has confirmed to Reuters that Nokia has started working on Nokia Windows Phone 7 Smartphones. The statement goes like “We’re right now, today, having people work on the first Windows Phone devices”. Elop also sated that the Company hopes to produce the first Windows Phone 7 Smartphone by the end of this year with hopeful launch date of early 2012.

Windows Phone 7 will take place of Symbian OS, as per the News from Nokia. This is due to Symbian was losing market share rapidly due to its poor interface compared with android and other smart phone OS.

The agreement between Nokia and Microsoft are lasted five years. Micosoft is looking for hardware that is quite capable for their WP7 and Nokia is looking for major market share in smart phone market. Hope this new partnership will save Nokia from its losing market share. We’ll have to wait and see.
