Run Desktop Apps From Cloud For Free

Spoon is a virtualization concept to the next level of computing by helping you run desktop apps from the cloud. You just need to install the spoon plug-in in your PC, you will be able to access applications you want to use without having to worry about installing or updating. This is especially for people like me who test dozens of tools and programs every day. There is nothing to install, and no need to ensure you have the latest version or patch. You also play all the games that are included on the site. Some of the application in this service are TweetDeck, Skype, VLC Media Player, Adobe Reader, WinAmp, Any video converter.

It works on the principle of Cloud Computing, the resources required by the app to run will be available from a centralized data center. So such apps can run anywhere via the internet.

Steps To Setup

1)  Go to Spoon site Click here

2) Click on Install Plugin on the homepage of the Spoon.

3) Click OK on the box that says the Spoon plugin has been successfully installed.

4) Browse the Spoon Apps Library to select an apps you want to run using this tool.

5) I took Any video converter . Clicked on Any video converter and got the following page showing a Start Now button.

6) Click on Start button. If you haven’t already created a free account with them before, you should get a pop up asking you to create an account. Create an acount and continue.

7) Then click Start Now again and you can see “Buffering” box will apper on the application window.

8) After buffering is done, Any video converter opened in new window.

By useing this same method you can open other applications and games. In my testing I found it is an extremely useful tool.
